Can I submit a proposal also I do not plan to join in person?
Please note that virtual session presentations are not possible.
Can I add co-speakers?
Yes, you can add up to four co-speakers when submitting your proposal, depending on the selected session format.
However, please note that all co-speakers must be declared during the CfP. Co-speakers added after the CfP has
concluded will not receive an exclusive conference pass.
Are travel and accommodation expenses covered for UI5con speakers?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer financial assistance for travel or accommodation.
However, we will provide you with a complimentary ticket to UI5con and to all other Code Connect events you wish to attend.
What do I need to do regarding UI5con registration as a speaker?
After your session proposal is accepted, we will provide you with a ticket for UI5con and any other Code Connect events you've indicated interest in.

Are there any mandatory meetings for volunteers before the event?
Approximately two weeks before the event, we will hold a live-streamed kickoff meeting for all volunteers.
During this meeting, we will provide you with all the necessary information, answer any remaining questions,
and share your individual volunteer schedules. Prior to the meeting, we will send you all the relevant details
via email to ensure you are well prepared.
Are the volunteers occupied throughout the entire day during the event?
No, we carefully design the volunteer schedule to provide a balance between your volunteer duties and personal time.
You will work for a few hours and then have designated free time to enjoy the conference, attend talks, and
network with other attendees. We strive to create a schedule that allows you to make the most of your UI5con experience.

Attending UI5con 2026 is completely free of charge. However, if you want to attend in person you will need to order a complimentary ticket to secure your spot onsite. No registration is necessary to attend online.
When will tickets for UI5con 2026 become available and how can I secure my spot?
Tickets for UI5con 2026 will be released on 16. April at 4pm CEST.
You can reserve your tickets directly from our event page or via the Tito platform, where you can also
secure tickets for the complementary events of Code Connect 2026 series.
After a successful order, you will receive a confirmation email from support@tito.io. If prompted in the confirmation email, complete your registration by assigning each ticket to a unique named attendee and providing all required information. This step is crucial to verify your tickets.

You can cancel your UI5con 2026 ticket through your ticket link until 8. June 2026. You can find this link in your confirmation email (sent from support@tito.io). If you cannot find the email, use

After 8. June 2026, cancellations must be requested by contacting us at openui5@sap.com. Please include a valid reason for your inability to attend.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your UI5con ticket to another attendee. To do so, find the ticket link in your
confirmation email (sent from support@tito.io). If you cannot find it, use Tito's Lookup Tool to
retrieve it by entering the email address you used to register the ticket.
Ticket transfers through Tito are only possible until 8. June 2026, at 23:59 CEST. After this date, please contact openui5@sap.com with the new attendee's full name and email address (cc the new attendee).
Can I share my badge with my colleagues?
No, sharing badges is not allowed. Each participant is required to have their own unique and registered badge.
Badge sharing breaches our terms and conditions and hinders our capability to efficiently organize and manage the event.
Why can I only register one ticket for UI5con?
To ensure a fair registration process, we allow only one ticket per person. Since tickets are limited and sell out quickly, we want to give
everyone an equal chance to attend. If we detect duplicate bookings, we reserve the right to cancel the additional tickets.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email for my ticket – what should I do?
Please check your spam or junk folder. The confirmation email is sent from support@tito.io. Make sure to keep an eye on that inbox, as all

What are Early Bird tickets?
Early Bird tickets are a limited number of tickets available for attendees who need to plan and arrange their
travel well in advance, especially those traveling long distances.

There are only 30 Early Bird tickets available.
Do I have to pay for an Early Bird ticket immediately or only when the formal registration starts?

Early Bird tickets are even more restricted to ensure participants with high travel and accommodation arrangements have a chance to get one well in advance of the event.

After submitting your application, you will receive a notification about its status within 2 weeks.

UI5con 2026 will take place on July 14th at SAP University in St. Leon-Rot.
The conference will run from 9:00 to 18:00 CEST, followed by an after-event at the same location until 22:00 CEST.
